🌿 Safe Play — We Take This Seriously

Responsible Gaming at 1ph

Gambling on 1ph should be enjoyable entertainment — not a source of stress, debt, or harm. This page covers everything you need to know about playing safely on the 1ph platform: the tools we've built into your account, the warning signs worth knowing, and how to get help if gambling stops being fun.

21+ Age Enforced 💰 Deposit Limits Available ⏱️ Session Time Reminders 🚫 Self-Exclusion Tool 🛡️ PAGCOR Aligned 💬 24/7 Support Access ❄️ Cooling-Off Period 👁️ Reality Checks

21 Years Old and Above — No Exceptions

The minimum age to create a 1ph account and participate in any game, bet, or wagering activity is 21 years old. This is a hard requirement under PAGCOR regulations governing online gaming in the Philippines — not a guideline and not a soft limit. There are no exceptions, regardless of parental consent, circumstances, or claimed purpose.

Every new 1ph account registration requires submission of a valid Philippine government-issued ID confirming the player's date of birth. Accounts are not fully activated for real-money play until age verification is completed. For any account found to be operated by a person under 21, 1ph will immediately suspend the account, reverse any deposits to the depositor's original payment method, and void any winnings.

If you know of someone under 21 attempting to use 1ph — or if you are a parent or guardian concerned about a minor's access to online gambling — contact our support team immediately. We will act on every report without delay.

Parents and Guardians: Please ensure that minors in your household cannot access your 1ph account or your device while you are logged in. Use your device's screen lock, password-protect your browser, and never share your 1ph account credentials with anyone — including family members.

Age Verification Required

Mandatory before real-money play on 1ph.

Government-issued Philippine ID required at registration (PhilSys, Passport, Driver's License, UMID, Voter's ID, SSS, GSIS, PRC)
Date of birth confirmed against ID — automated age gate rejects all applicants born less than 21 years ago
Accounts flagged as potentially underage are suspended pending manual review — not just restricted
Underage gambling violations are reported to PAGCOR as required by Philippine online gaming regulations
Re-verification may be requested at any time if age-related concerns are raised about an account

Built-In Responsible Gaming Features

Every 1ph account comes with a full suite of responsible gaming controls — accessible from your account settings at any time, no questions asked.

Instant Effect
💰
Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly caps on how much you deposit into your 1ph account. A deposit limit you reduce takes effect immediately. A limit you increase takes 24 hours to activate — giving you time to reconsider. Limits are visible in real time so you always know where you stand.

Always On
⏱️
Session Time Reminders

Set an alert to notify you after you've been playing continuously for a defined period — 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or a custom duration. The reminder appears on screen and prompts you to decide whether to continue or take a break. It's a simple tool that makes a real difference.

Reality Check
📊
Net Position Display

The 1ph session tracker shows your real-time net position — total wagered versus total returned — during every active session. This feature ensures you always have an honest, up-to-date picture of how your session is going, rather than relying on memory or feeling.

Configurable
🎯
Loss Limits

Set a maximum loss threshold per day, week, or month. When your net losses in the defined period reach the limit, 1ph will prevent further real-money wagers until the period resets. Loss limits can be reduced at any time with immediate effect. Increases require a 24-hour confirmation window.

1–90 Days
❄️
Cooling-Off Period

Take a break from 1ph for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. During a cooling-off period your account is locked for real-money play and you will not receive any promotional marketing from 1ph. The period begins immediately upon activation and cannot be shortened once set.

Min. 6 Months
🚫
Self-Exclusion

If you feel that gambling is causing harm to you or your family, you can self-exclude from 1ph for a minimum of 6 months, or permanently. Self-exclusion locks your account entirely, stops all marketing, and cannot be reversed during the exclusion period. This is the strongest tool available and should be used if you feel it is needed.

How to access these tools: All responsible gaming features are available inside your 1ph account under Settings → Responsible Gaming. You can also contact our 24/7 support team via live chat or email to have any limit or restriction activated on your behalf immediately — no waiting period required for restrictions you want to impose on yourself.

How Each Tool Works

Each responsible gaming tool on 1ph is designed to work without friction when you want to restrict yourself, and with a deliberate delay when you want to increase a limit — so that impulsive decisions don't override considered ones.

⚡ Reductions: Instant 🕐 Increases: 24-Hour Delay

You can set a deposit limit for any of three periods: per day (resets at midnight Philippine Standard Time), per week (resets Monday 00:00 PST), or per month (resets on the 1st of each month). Setting a lower limit takes effect immediately — the system enforces it from the moment you save the change.

If you request an increase to an existing deposit limit, the increase does not activate for 24 hours. During that window you can cancel the increase request and the original limit remains. This friction is intentional — it gives you time to reconsider during a period when you might be tempted to deposit more than you had originally planned.

⚡ Activates: Immediately 🔒 Cannot Be Shortened

A cooling-off period temporarily suspends your 1ph account's real-money play functions. You choose the duration: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. During a cooling-off period, your account remains accessible (you can check transaction history), but no deposits can be made, no bets can be placed, and 1ph will not send you any promotional communications.

The cooling-off period activates the moment you confirm the request. It cannot be shortened or cancelled once started. After the period expires, your account automatically returns to normal status — you do not need to contact support to reactivate it.

⚡ Activates: Immediately 🔒 Minimum 6 Months

Self-exclusion is the most significant step you can take if you believe gambling is causing harm. When you self-exclude from 1ph, your account is immediately and completely closed for real-money play for the chosen minimum duration: 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or permanently.

During self-exclusion: your account is inaccessible for deposits, bets, and withdrawals; all marketing from 1ph to your contact details stops immediately; any balance in your account at the time of exclusion will be returned to your verified payment method after the exclusion period ends (or sooner for permanent exclusion).

Self-exclusion cannot be reversed during the minimum exclusion period under any circumstances. If you choose a time-limited exclusion, you must contact 1ph support to re-enable your account after the period expires — it does not reactivate automatically. We strongly encourage anyone considering self-exclusion to also seek external support.

⚡ Always Available

Session time reminders can be set from 15 minutes up to several hours. When the timer elapses, a notification appears on your screen showing your current session duration, the total amount wagered, and your net session result (up or down). You then choose to continue or end the session.

The net position display is visible at all times during a live casino session — it shows your cumulative win/loss for the current session so you always have a factual reference point rather than relying on how you feel about how the session is going. This feature helps prevent the "just one more hand" pattern that can lead to chasing losses.

Gambling Risk Factors

Certain factors increase the risk of gambling causing harm. Being aware of these helps you manage your play more safely on 1ph and elsewhere.

Playing to recover lossesHigh Risk
Gambling while stressed or upsetElevated
No pre-set session budgetElevated
Playing beyond a time limitModerate
Gambling as social recreation (budgeted)Lower Risk
Treating gambling as entertainment (not income)Lower Risk

⚠️ Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose. Gambling winnings are never guaranteed, and no strategy or system can reliably overcome the house edge. If you are using gambling as a way to solve financial problems, please reach out for help — this is one of the strongest indicators that gambling has become harmful.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually. These are the warning signs that gambling may be causing harm — recognising them early makes it much easier to address.

💸
Chasing Losses Returning to gamble to win back money you've already lost. This is one of the most common — and damaging — patterns in problem gambling.
🤫
Secrecy About Gambling Hiding how much time or money you spend gambling from family, friends, or colleagues. Feeling defensive or dishonest about your gambling activity.
🏦
Borrowing to Gamble Borrowing money, withdrawing savings, or using credit to fund gambling. Using gambling money for bills and vice versa.
😟
Gambling to Cope Using gambling as a way to escape problems, relieve stress, deal with depression, or manage difficult emotions — rather than for entertainment.
Losing Track of Time Spending far more time gambling than intended. Missing meals, sleep, work, or family commitments because of gambling sessions.
😤
Irritability When Not Playing Feeling restless, anxious, or irritable when you are not gambling, or when you try to cut down. This can indicate psychological dependence.
🔄
Repeated Failed Attempts to Stop You've tried to cut back or stop gambling before but were unable to stick to it. This is a clear signal to seek external support.

Quick Self-Check

Answer honestly. If you find yourself nodding "yes" to three or more of these, it may be time to use the responsible gaming tools in your 1ph account — or to seek independent support.

1
Have you ever gambled more than you planned to, even after telling yourself you'd stop?
2
Have you ever felt the need to bet more money to get the same level of excitement?
3
Have you ever gone back to try to win back money you'd already lost in a previous session?
4
Have you ever missed work, school, or a family obligation because of gambling?
5
Have you ever lied to someone close to you about how much time or money you spend on gambling?
6
Have you ever used money intended for rent, groceries, bills, or savings to gamble?
7
Have you ever felt anxious, depressed, or guilty because of your gambling?
8
Has a family member or friend ever expressed concern about how much you gamble?

If you answered yes to 3 or more: Consider activating a deposit limit or cooling-off period in your 1ph account settings, or contact our support team to discuss self-exclusion. These tools are there precisely for moments like this.

Gambling Myths vs. Reality

A lot of harmful gambling behaviour is driven by false beliefs about how gambling works. Here are some of the most common myths — and the reality behind them.

✗ Myth

"A machine that hasn't paid out in a while is due for a win soon."

✓ Reality

Every spin is independent. Past results have zero effect on future outcomes. The slot has no memory.

✗ Myth

"I can use a betting system to beat the house over time."

✓ Reality

No staking system — Martingale, Fibonacci, or otherwise — eliminates the house edge. All change is the pattern of wins and losses, not the long-run expected value.

✗ Myth

"I'm on a hot streak — I should keep going while luck is with me."

✓ Reality

Winning streaks are random variance. They don't predict future results. The house edge applies equally to every round, hot streak or not.

✗ Myth

"Gambling more after a loss will help me win my money back faster."

✓ Reality

Chasing losses by increasing stakes typically increases total losses. Each bet has the same independent expected outcome — the house edge doesn't change.

✗ Myth

"Problem gambling only happens to people who can't control themselves."

✓ Reality

Problem gambling is a recognised health condition that can affect anyone — regardless of intelligence, discipline, or background. It's not a character flaw.

✗ Myth

"Gambling online is a reliable way to earn extra income."

✓ Reality

All casino games and most bets have a mathematical house edge. Over time, the expected outcome for the player is a net loss. Gambling should be treated as entertainment, not income.
